What is the Six Month Smile system?
The Six Month Smile system is an exciting new treatment which has come over from America. The treatment produces incredible results in just six months and is an innovative alternative to traditional metal fixed braces.
The braces are made of very fine wires and brackets, which are coloured to match the colour of the teeth, thus making the brace discreet and light.
How do the braces work?

Stages of treatment

Stage one
During the initial consultation at our very own Devonshire Dental Care in Glasgow, the dentist will discuss the treatment with the patient and decide whether or not the patient is a suitable candidate for the treatment.
Stage two
If the patient decides to go ahead with the treatment, the dentist will take photographs and impressions of their teeth, which will then be sent away to the Six Month Smiles laboratory in America.
Stage three
The braces will be manufactured according to the measurements of the patient’s mouth. The braces will then be returned to the dentist.
Stage four
The braces will be fitted and attached to the teeth and the patient will be asked to return to the dentist every four to six weeks to check the fit of the brace and monitor the progress of the treatment.
